School Meals

Our school menus operate on a three-week cycle and are updated twice a year. They offer a varied and nutritionally balanced selection, with three meal choices available each day. All meals are freshly prepared and cooked on the school premises by our experienced catering team, led by our catering supervisor, Mrs Craven.

Free School Meals for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school lunch.

Children of any age may also be eligible for means-tested Free School Meals if their family receives certain benefits. If your child is eligible, the school may also receive additional Pupil Premium funding to support their learning and development.

School Meal Costs and Payments

The cost of a school meal for the current school year is £3.30 per day for children who are not entitled to a free school meal.

Children choose their meal each morning at registration. Payment must be made in advance through ScoPay. Please ensure that sufficient funds are available in your account, as children cannot select a school meal if there is not enough money in their account.

Packed Lunches

Children may choose to have a school meal or bring a packed lunch from home. We encourage all our children to make healthy food choices and ask parents and carers to support this by ensuring that packed lunches do not contain sweets or chocolate bars.

Saughall All Saints is a peanut-free school. To help keep all our children safe, items containing peanuts or other nuts must not be brought into school. This includes food brought in packed lunches and snacks. Thank you for supporting us in maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Allergies and Food Intolerances

All allergies and food intolerances reported to the school are communicated to our kitchen team. If you require further information about how your child's dietary needs are managed, please contact the school by email.
