Hoops4Health Cheshire Phoenix Basketball Winners.

On Sunday 11th February, our Year 5/6 basketball team took part in a Hoops4Health tournament with the opportunity to play on a full size court during the half time of the Cheshire Phoenix Professional game. The children were undefeated in all four of the qualifying games meaning a finals spot was secure and a chance to play for the winners medals! The children played extremely well but with less than 10 seconds to go neither team had managed to score! However, with some quick thinking by Seth Challinor and Fergus Harris with only 1 second to go, Seth passed the ball to Fergus who scored an amazing Buzzer-beater shot to win the tournament. It really was quite a finish and a moment I'm sure Fergus (in particular) will remember for a long time!

Well done to all of the children who represented school so well - Mrs Prenton and I were very proud of you all.
