Welcome to the Summer Term!
We hope that everyone had a great half term break.
What’s happening this term
Our topic this half term is 'Growth and Change'. During this topic we will be learning about how animals and plants grow and change.
In literacy, we will writing about animals and lifecycles.
In maths we will be focusing on shape, subtraction, doubling and halving.
We promise to:
Please make sure that only water is in water bottles.
We will be focusing on ball skills this half term. Please note P.E will now be on Tuesday (ZJ) or Wednesday (KH) morning. Please ensure your child's P.E kit stays in school until the end of every half term.
Letters will be sent home in book bags regularly. Please make sure that book bags come to school every day.
Homework will be sent out every Thursday and is expected to be in by Tuesday. Homework will be based on letter and number formation practise with some tricky words aswell.

03.06.19: We have had a busy week this week! The children enjoyed our trip to Park Hall Farm,we had the chance to stroke lots of animals and we even milked a cow!
10.06.19: This week we are looking forward to Sports Day. We are going to be writing about our trip to the farm. In Maths we are going to be learning how to share equally.
17.06.19: This week we have been reading the story 'A home full of friends', we have been talking about how we can be a good friend to others. In maths we have been practising adding and subtracting using a numberline and objects. We have also been learning about bees and how we can look after them.
24.06.19: This week we are going to make our own information books all about minibeasts. In maths, we will be practising counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. We will also be looking at household objects from the past and talking about how people used them.
